The telnet disable command is supported in the system view to disable the Telnet function. If the Telnet function needs to be enabled after being disabled, run the telnet enable command.

By default, the Telnet function cannot be disabled on a device.

The display telnet server status command in the system view displays the status and configuration of the Telnet server.

After the patch is activated, the display telnet server status command output is changed.

Before the modification:

[Huawei] display telnet server status

TELNET IPv4 server :Enable

TELNET IPv6 server :Enable

TELNET server port :23

After the modification:

[Huawei]display telnet server status

TELNET server function :Disable

TELNET IPV4 server :Disable

TELNET IPV6 server :Disable

TELNET server port :23
